Commissions are very similar to selling a house. 6% of the total lease value is split between the listing agent and agent who procures the tenant. Payment is typically paid 50% at lease signing and 50% upon lease commencement. A payment arrangement can also be setup over the first 4 months of the lease term if the commission exceeds the total amount collected from the tenant upon commencement.
Listing Fee:
*$150 paid upon signing of listing agreement.
*Upon successful lease commencement, this fee will be credited back to the owner from the leasing commissions earned.
